Ricam Capsule is used to relieve the signs and symptoms of swollen, stiffed, warm or painful joints. It is also used to relieve the pain and stiffness affecting the spine. It works by obstructing the body’s production of a substance which causes fever, pain, and inflammation.
Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs
Ricam is a prescription medicine that belongs to a class of medicines called Nonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, also called as NSAIDs, help reduce fever, decrease pain, and prevent clotting of blood. NSAIDs also reduce inflammation in the body when used in higher doses.
Talk to your doctor if you develop new symptoms. Tell your doctor if unexplained weight gain, swelling due to fluid accumulation, nausea, fatigue, lack of energy, severe itching, jaundice, stomach pain, flu-like symptoms, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, swelling of the face or throat, skin rash, chest pain, blisters, fever, black and tarry stools, heartburn, blood in the stool, constipation, slurred speech, hair loss, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness, and depression. If you have issues with the health of your liver, Patient with liver disease may require a low dose of this medicine.
Older patients may see an increase in the incidence of side-effects with this medicine. As a result, a lower dose may be recommended for older patients.
Use in Children
The safety and effectiveness of using Ricam Capsule in children has not been established. The safety and effectiveness data of Ricam have not been studied in children under 12 years.
Avoid Alcohol
Avoid the consumption of alcohol with Ricam.
Storage
You should store Ricam Capsule below 30ºC (86º F), protect from moisture, and protect from light. Store the medicine away from the reach of children and pets.
Medicines may be prescribed for uses other than those listed in the medicine guide. Do not use Ricam Capsule for conditions for which it was not prescribed. Do not give Ricam Capsule to other people who might have the same conditions or symptoms that you have. Self-medication may harm them.

Missed Dose
